Dear Alumni and Friends:
This coming fall’s matchup with the Washington Huskies will mark the Huskers’ first trip to the Great Northwest since 1997. As you may know by now, the Alumni Association has been accepting registrations since February for our travel program to Seattle. The trip has proven so popular that we have now added a second non-stop charter flight from Lincoln departing Thursday morning, this via Southwest Airlines.*
The program’s other highlights include three night’s accommodations at the Sheraton Seattle in the heart of downtown, game day’s “exclusive” Alumni and Athletics sightseeing cruise direct to Husky Stadium, admission to our traditional pre-game Husker Huddle and, of course, that all important reserved-seat game ticket in the Nebraska section. The program also permits ample free time on Friday to fill your day by sightseeing and shopping on your own. Or, you may consider taking our optional full-day narrated tour of the Seattle area.
Should your schedule or preferred departure city call for alternative arrangements, you may still join in all the “official” Alumni fun by selecting a land-only package for 2 or more nights at the Sheraton (pre-game cruise initially available to charter flight participants only). Whatever your package selection, you’ll enjoy the same Husker camaraderie and outstanding service that has become the hallmark of Alumni football trips through the years.
